Welcome

Welcome to "Enchanted After All," an AU Potterverse RPG set in modern day magical Ireland. Our game is questionably advanced (advanced without the attitude or SRS BZNS) and is definitely character-driven.

If you're into quirky members and comedy, this board may be just right for you. An affinity for libraries, tea, knitting, cats and sparkle peen also helps

Guess what?

My TA's name is Tuna. It's really hard keeping a straight face in tutorials.

For some reason, I've had this intense urge to dye my hair blonde- and I am, in no way normally a bottle blonde person. (In fact, I'm sorta a diehard brunette, if you must know.)

I think this sudden urge might have been brought on by the fact that it would give me the oppurtunity to be catty when people I don't like make blonde jokes. There are so many awesome comebacks (NO, it's NOT natural, unlike your stupidity/ lameness/ etc... No, the curtains don't match the drapes but apparently your stunning good looks match your unparelled creativity... How many blondes does it take to screw in a lightbulb? I couldn't say- but I do know how many rejections it's going to take before you find someone to screw you using those lines- and let's just say you should call it a night and go home to a tissue box and some lotion- for the next decade or so.)

I got this dreadful blonde wig over the summer. It made me look like Kelly from the Shoes video. It was awesome.

When I was 5, I insisted up and down that I had blonde hair and blue eyes. Not... not so much. Anyway, I don't think I could ever go entirely blonde. When the lady who added highlights to my hair said that highlights were always a stepping stone to going blonde, I replied with a horrified expression. Never mind that she was one of the "highlights are a gateway drug" persuaded people. Needless to say, I remain 95% brunette. :P

ANYWAY, Christ, Andrew, and I should get blonde wigs. Then we can all be Kelly for Halloween.

I would love to know who this Kelly person is, but I'm affraid to ask.

As far as my own experience with hair dye. I had this obsession with having it dyed electric blue for the longest of time, but then I never did. I am both relieved and disappointed I didn't come through with the idea.

I just came across the blog of a lady who seems to have named her children after Lord of the Rings characters. How much are those three kids (Arwen, Pippin, and Eowyn) going to hate their mother?

*plots to name fake children Harry, Hermione, and Scabbers*

Consider yourself enlightened, Paula!

And yes, we totally should get blonde wigs.

And shoes.
OMG, SHOES!

These shoes RULE, BTW.

I should go to sleep now so that I can wake up early and intercept cute boy who eats breakfast at an unearthly hour in the dining hall tomorrow morning. But it's so hard.

You could just stay up and meet him... then go back to your room and crash. Nothing is more charming than a sleep-deprived person.

No, I have class in the mornings and that's not enough sleep, and it's too early in the semester to pull all-nighters yet.

Also: Mission Accomplished. ;)

Is it really ever too early to start pulling all-nighters?

YES IT IS.

My fingers are sticky. And I have class all day. No one said college actually involved going to class. People never went to class in EU!

Groan.
