Welcome

Welcome to "Enchanted After All," an AU Potterverse RPG set in modern day magical Ireland. Our game is questionably advanced (advanced without the attitude or SRS BZNS) and is definitely character-driven.

If you're into quirky members and comedy, this board may be just right for you. An affinity for libraries, tea, knitting, cats and sparkle peen also helps

5 books you absolutely adore: A Game Of Thrones - George RR Martin (I could probably put the 5 books of the series in here but AGOT is the best of them). Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adams. The Hobbit - Tolkien. Lord of the Rings - Tolkien. Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk.
2 books you loathe: Generally only read books my friends have reccommended
Favourite Will Ferrell film: Old School
Favourite Ghostbuster: I'll give out some Egon love.
Favourite comedian: Bill Hicks.
Favourite Disney villain: Shere Kahn
Favourite holiday: i'm all about christmas since its the only time of year i go home to my parents house for more than two days. drunken antics and all that, not to mention my christmas day routine.
Fourth favourite folk parody duo: k?
Coolest shark: Hammerhead
Theoretically your Hogwarts house assignment: Gryffindor or the Hufflepuff I'd guess.
5 musicians/musical groups you currently dig: Whitest Boy Alive, Kasabian, Zero 7, Bell x1, the Frames.
Favourite chocolate: Wispa all the way!
An embarrassing anecdote: I woke up on my parent's sofa wearing a pink dressing gown over my clothes that I'd apparently stolen from a house party. It belonged to my mate's mum.
Favourite animal: Red-capped Mannequin. I can think of nothing better than a moonwalking bird.
Favourite school subject: History.
Best Halloween costume EVER: Free Mammogram Machine

Wake up on the sofa around ten, find out what the kids got from santa, head to church (my one time a year, damn strictly catholic mum) and hit the pub after it. 2 hours in the pub before dinner followed by a smoke and a power nap. Then back into meet my mates for drinks. Followed by family party at the house.

5 years running. Exact same amazing day.

And cheers. Good to be back, I think.

Welcome back indeed!

I'm actually more interested in knowing how you do to dress up as a Free Mammogram Machine. With Halloween just around the corner is never bad to have options... :liz

At its most basic its a box over your head with 'free mammogram, place breast here' written on it. Filthy, disgusting and did not work in the slightest. Raoul Duke for me this year.

That sounds alarmingly like the Sperm Donation Bank costume one of my friends used last year. :lol

Do you think you'll give it a go, or do you have some other costume in mind for this year?

Yeah I think there are a few variations of the get up. I went as it like, 3 or so years ago. Have to work this year so it has to be something that I can run around behind a bar. Already got my fancy cigarette holder and Hawaiian shirt, all i need is the aviators to complete my Raoul Duke.

Welcome back!

What's your favourite colour?
If you were a type of pasta, what type would you be and why?
What's the best song to dance to when completely plastered?

Green because I like Irish cliches.
The little shell shapes because they're easy going and yet still stand up to the other pastas.
I'm gonna have to go with 'Sit Down' by James simply because its one of those songs me and my mates all know the words to. Or Cigarettes and Alcohol ... or anything by the Prodigy.

Don't forget your Gonzo! A Raoul Duke costume wouldn't be complete without one.

ALSO: Welcome back, Donnie!

And... what's the worst type of bar customer? Feel free to be brutally honest... because you already know we're all fans of brutality here. :whip

Nobody at work has seen Fear and Loathing so I'm on my own. Not sure if I could get away with using the character from the muppets either.

Honestly nine out of ten customers are drunken asshats so I just treat every single customer like they're an asshat to save myself being nice to people who are plainly, asshats. Jeff Anderson in Clerks is sort of my hero.
